Yellow Badge Guide Course

What is the Yellow Badge Course?

The Scottish Tourist Guides Association (STGA) offers a Yellow Badge Training Programme for tourist guides in Scotland.

The STGA Yellow Badge Training Programme builds on experience gained training guides in Scotland over the past six decades, and incorporates the most recent national, European, and international standards.

The STGA Yellow Badge course is for tourism companies throughout Scotland who utilise the services of their own guides. These guides may be volunteers, seasonal staff or fully employed.

Yellow Badge Guides are employed by tourism companies or organisations.
