New Blue Badge Guide Quiz Book Published

Blue Badge Guide Edinburgh Quiz Book

The History Press has just published The Blue Badge Guide’s Edinburgh Quiz Book, written by our Chairman, John Duncan.  This is the latest in a series of such books planned by the History Press, and is a companion volume to the already published The Blue Badge Guide’s London Quiz Book.

The book comprises 22 themed rounds, each of 10 questions, on different aspects of Edinburgh’s history, culture and geography.  Each round starts with relatively easy questions, but they become progressively harder as you work your way through the round.

John says: “The book aims to give the reader something of the flavour of exploring the city in the company of a knowledgeable, entertaining Blue Badge guide.  Edinburgh is a complex, fascinating city, with an endless trove of facts, stories and anecdotes built up over 2,000 years of often turbulent history.  By far the best way to explore it is in the company of a qualified Blue Badge guide, but I hope this little book will entertain those unable to do so in person”.
