EDINBURGH LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE
The team that brought you the sell-out EDINBURGH’S GEORGIAN SHADOWS walking tours last year is back again!
Hidden in a corner of your favourite pub or dominating the city skyline lie a wealth of curious objects that tell the fascinating history of Edinburgh. Let us kick-start your curiosity-hunting with a walking tour through EDINBURGH’S NEW TOWN as we reveal hidden gems and cast new light on old favourites.
In the city where the SCOTTISH ENLIGHTENMENT ushered in a new age of discovery, explore how Edinburgh’s curiosities and creators have shaped our town and the modern world.
Our walking tour will reveal highlights from the 101 OBJECTS initiative that’s currently running in Edinburgh and will no doubt fire your curiosity even more!
2pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 23rd February and 18th March 2018
Please meet at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery 10 minutes before the start time.

The walk will last around 90 minutes and the route is approximately 2 kilometres long, including several stops mainly out in the open. Please dress for the cold. Sensible and comfortable shoes are recommended, because the ground can be uneven, occasionally on a gradient and there are a few steps to negotiate, although guides can adapt the tour for wheelchair users. Please advise us in advance of any disabilities or access issues and we will do our best to accommodate. Essential carers go free – please contact us using the details below to advise if you require this. All children up to 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
