The Scottish Tourist Guides Association (STGA) is the only professional membership body for fully trained and accredited tourist guides in Scotland.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly-motivated and experienced administrator to work in our office in Stirling. You will provide full administrative support to both the member services and training functions of the STGA.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, used to managing his/her own work, and capable of scheduling work from more than one person. Excellent IT skills are essential and you should have proven experience of and be confident in the use of Microsoft Office, Google Drive and other web-based applications.
You will be based in our office in Stirling, working as part of a small but busy team and therefore you should be flexible, prepared to work cooperatively with others, and be comfortable with multi-tasking and ad hoc work. You may be asked to work elsewhere on occasion, for example at the AGM and student/graduate events.
We are seeking someone who is extremely reliable and trustworthy, has excellent interpersonal skills, and has a willingness to learn and adapt.
The post is currently part-time (28 hours a week) but may become full-time in the future. There is a degree of flexibility in the days and hours to be worked.
