G:2014 - Sporting Heritage Tours

Scotland is poised to become centre-stage of the sporting world in 2014, welcoming both the Ryder Cup and the Commonwealth Games.  As Glasgow prepares to welcome top athletes for the "friendly games", STGA Guides have been in preparation too: come with us to discover Glasgow's sporting heritage past, present and future.

To mark this historic event, the Scottish Tourist Guides Association has developed a unique tour programme to bring Glasgow's sporting heritage to life.  Already experts in their fields, our STGA guides have further deepened their knowledge in order to give both visitors and locals insight into the background to the upcoming event.
