Whether you are based within the UK or abroad, are a tour operator, business, small group, family or individual, we can help you find a guide who will meet your needs.
Booking an STGA guide could not be easier. In order to find a guide with the right skills for you, choose from the following three options:
- Find a Guide by using our online search engine. You'll find all their contact details, and lots of information about their interests, qualifications and types of tours on offer, and you can even book them directly.
- Download a pdf copy of our 2012 Guide List or email us for a hard copy of this brochure. This booklet provides a compact and comprehensive listing of all our Guides including their specialist areas and contact information – this booklet is particularly handy if you are using guides on a regular basis.
- If you’d rather make a booking with a more personal touch, please contact our Bookings Secretary, Dot Wylie, who has access to the guides' availability. She’ll help you find the right guide with the skills and languages you require and will make the booking on your behalf - this is a real bonus if you have a busy schedule, require to several guides or your tour departs soon. The STGA booking service is available Monday to Friday from 0900 hrs to 1700hrs GMT. Outwith these hours, please leave a message or send an email or fax.
A booking fee is payable to the STGA per guide per tour as follows:
- Half day tours £12.00
- Full day tours £18.00
- Extended tours £25.00
