The Staff

STGA guides are self employed, and although they can be booked through our Booking Service, they are not directly employed by the STGA.

The Association is supported in its endeavours by four members of staff. Three of them are based at Norie's House in Stirling, which is open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The Training Manager is an active guide herself, and as such is best contacted by email during peak season.

• Gem Scotland, Business Support Manager - Administratively and organisationally supports the Board of Directors; webmaster; first point of contact for industry partners, new member enquiries, and complaints.
• Dot Wylie, Booking Secretary - Deals with all bookings and first point of contact for guide enquiries.
• Alison Norman, Book Keeper (part time) - Processes all payments to and from guides and customers.
• Pat Blain, Training Manager (part-time) - Deals with all in-depth training matters.
